  1. If there was a story written about my mom at the age of 6-10 the setting would be like this. The year would be 1963-1967 in a split-level house on a quiet street in the New York City suburbs of New Rochelle. The mood of the story would be very happy, joyful and a little noisy because her mom just had twin baby girls. My mom and her brother would hold and play with their little sisters. My mom's mother was a stay at home mom and was an excellent cook, making delicious Italian meals. Joanne (my mom) attended St. Pius X School, in a nearby town. She was in classes with the same kids all through school, from kindergarten through 8th grade. She participated in Girl Scouts after school; but, her mom didn't know how to drive very well, so my mother and her siblings would play mostly with friends from their neighborhood.

  3. If there were to be a story written about my mothers childhood from the ages of 6-10, it would look a little bit like this. The year would be from 1968-1972. It would take place in the small apartment in the Bronx, New York City. Her two sisters who were much older than she, would have just been sent to a boarding school because they were much older than she was. Also her two sisters skipped a few grades in school. My mom's parents had moved to New York City from Puerto Rico and only spoke spanish. They didn't have the best education in Puerto Rico, so they didn't have much money. Overall, my mom had a happy childhood with spanish relatives coming to the house and dancing. However; she spent a lot of the time feeling lonely because her sisters had gone away.

  4. If there was a story written about my dad at the ages of 6-10 it would take place from 1968-1972 in the town of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He would have 2 brothers and a cocker spaniel. It was a good/healthy environment with lots of trees around and the people there weren’t necessarily poor but they weren’t that rich either. It was a quiet town. There were woods right behind his house. Anybody could go to school. The town wasn’t known for “bad things” and everybody could trust each other. Everybody was pretty happy, they knew that they lived in a safe place and didn’t have to worry that much. To sum it all up, my dad lived pretty nice place with a good environment and good people.

  5. If there were a story written about my mother, it would take place between 1967-1971 when she was between the ages of 6-10, in Nutley New Jersey. My mom was the oldest child of 5. She had 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and a dog named J.J. Growing up my mom had was given a lot of responsibility watching the younger kids. Nutley was a medium sized neighborhood, with a lot of kids running around. In their back yard there was a pool that in the summer all the kids, even the dog, would swim in. They all had a lot of fun. when my mother wasn't watching the younger kids, she would spend a lot of time with her grand mother and grandfather. They both were very caring people, and helped my mom through a lot. This would create a happy and warm mood. Her grandmother especially, taught my mother to cook, because her grandmothers family was from Italy, and food is a big part of the tradition there. In the end my mom had a very happy childhood.
